Every character in Final Fantasy IX has the ability to go into Trance mode. As with all characters, when Freya hits her trace, her appearance will change. She will emit a silver glow, and her attack power will be boosted for that period of time. When her Jump command is acitivated, Freya will remain suspended in the air until her trance meter reaches its limit. Hovering above the battle, she will assault the enemy with her spears/lances. Freya cannot be damaged while in the air.
